Every second would another Diesel now
study ÖAMTC ACADEMY went "favorite" fuel when buying a car after
Eight out of ten Austrians the fuel plays a role in purchasing a car. Should be the next car, a diesel or gasoline? Could make for a vehicle with alternative fuel in the tank on top? In the course of a study of ÖAMTC ACADEMY gave to one in two respondents to choose their next car for a diesel-powered vehicle. About 40% are expected a gasoline purchase.
alternative drives, such as electricity or natural gas are still not really in the initial planning of national drivers. Just 5% of respondents currently flirting with buying a current-driven cars - lack of car models on the market are obviously the reason for the "cold shoulder" to meet with the Austrians this alternative drive yet. Although there are already some in the natural gas powered vehicles which are suitable for this alternative fuel, these periods have a pronounced niche. Less than 3% of the respondents may warm up for cars powered by natural gas. However, evident in the generation of comparison, that three times as many 40 - to 49-year-olds are interested in a car powered with electricity as a 18 - to 29-year-old.
Interestingly, the difference between women and men. At 55 percent, men speak more in favor that the next car will be a diesel, only 34 percent of men want to buy a petrol engine. For women, the preference has been 46 percent for diesel and 45 percent gasoline for the balance.
prefer other cities rather the petrol engine (every second), while one in the country to choose their next car is more for a diesel (57%).
